Learning Cello
IS WITHIN YOUR REACH

Imagine this. I can see you now...
You walk into a concert hall with your husband at your side. You smell the perfume in the air and the brush of velvet on the backs of your legs as you slide into your row. As you sit down you hear the orchestra tuning up, that familiar sound.
You watch the cello section and suddenly feel so proud that you TOO are someone who plays the cello. You remember how just a few short months ago you went to a concert and was just longing to be one of the musicians on the stage, knowing how to produce that gorgeous sound of the cello.
As you settle into your seat, the sound of the orchestra vibrating in the air, you remember how it felt playing your own cello that very morning, feeling the vibrations of the cello against your chest.
You are filled up with a sense of pride that you are playing an instrument you’ve always wanted to play. That’s the picture you want to see, isn’t it?!
Let me know if this sounds like you.
You feel stuck in where you are in your work or career. You feel like life is bland and you feel like you are in a rut with your creativity. You want to incorporate a daily habit that you can count on to feel joy.
You have been following the same work and personal life routine for years and want a safe place to explore the musical side of you. You feel like you have no time for yourself and are craving even just a few minutes to work on yourself and develop your mind.
Instead you want to have a self care practice that will give you confidence, creativity, joy, and time to recharge. You want to have mental energy and clarity throughout the whole work day. You want to have a creative edge with problem solving at work, and be able to easily learn a new language.
Every day you wish that there was a way that you could have a morning routine that primed you not only for learning or for creativity, but a quick, time sensitive routine that can give you what you need in order to have a productive day full of clarity of mind. You want to have more peace and mental rest after a long day and dream about being able to fall asleep at night without racing thoughts, but instead with peace and an ability to focus on their breath. In life you want to feel like you are making something of your potential and using the power available in your brain to the fullest.
I want that!

What people are saying:

It’s Time To Discover a Unique Self Care Practice
One that not only takes care of your brain health, but one that gives you the opportunity to discover your voice.
Then you are able to take care of all of you. In just 15 minutes a day.
I'M INE.
I am a professional cellist, business coach and a passionate cello coach who cares about giving you the ability to discover your voice through the cello and develop EVERY single part of your brain.
I know what it is like to feel stuck in your emotions. Sometimes it feels like no one around you truly understands what you are going through and dealing with. You feel like if you don’t have a way to work through the intensity of what you are feeling you might explode. So we push them down again and again just to explode at the smallest aggravation.
That is how I felt just a few short years ago. The cello is what allowed me to take a step back and figure out what my purpose was. Every time I practiced, I was able to fully immerse myself in the sound and in a way, tell my story to my cello, even if it was just me alone in a room with the instrument.
I remember very distinctly, one day when I was just 13 years old, I was sitting down to practice for a competition coming up the next month, and I was worried I wouldn’t be ready. Even in that intense nervous feeling, just playing a few notes allowed me to calm down enough to remember why I play. The sound of the cello just pulls at you, the vibrations against your chest actually changing the structure of your cells, making a calmer, more confident human being.
I'M MARI.
CELLIST.
The cello is my voice, my song without words. It reveals my deepest thoughts and feelings in a way that nothing else can. My (very biased) opinion is that the cello is the most beautiful musical instrument on earth!
TEACHER.
I love brainstorming, strategizing, and making connections in order to inspire others to learn and grow! All of this is wrapped up in what it means to me to be a teacher.
PHILOMATH.
(student of life). One of the greatest joys I can think of is learning something new, whether in academics, a new skill, sport, or language. I love breaking the boundaries of my own knowledge!
BELIEVER.
My love for God gives me the love and purpose to live life to the fullest. My hope is that through a glimmer of God’s love, whether caught in a Bible verse, musical piece, out in nature or someplace else, others might find their identity and purpose in the One who made us and cares so much for us.
WIFE.
I am so grateful to be on this journey of life with my partner and best friend. He is also my greatest collaborator, accomplishing projects together that I would have never been able to do on my own, such as our recent benefit concert project Mozart & More and multi-city fundraising Tour pour Ukraine.
MOM.
Sometimes it means chasing a toddler, often it means fragmented sleep, but always it means carrying your heart outside of yourself and experiencing one of life’s sweetest blessings and greatest fun on a daily basis in getting to see life again through the eyes of a child!
"When I sit down to practice I don't have the ability to do anything else; because it is an activity that requires my full attention to make music. I have noticed it is one of the few times during my day that I tune everything else out, even if just for a few minutes, and dedicate myself to one thing. It has helped me notice the worth in being grounded in something; even if 15 minutes later I must manage the next circus that is life."
Erin W.
"I think in teaching it's as much about the warmth and enthusiasm as it is about knowledge. I'd be hard pressed to find another teacher as warm, as willing to share, as enthusiastic, as passionate, as Ine. If you are looking for someone with cello talent and experience who won't put herself on a pedestal and who will teach as if she were a family friend, it's Ine. She's also very patient, encouraging, and willing to help -- for instance, if you're looking for a piece of music she's happy to find it or even transcribe it if it's not available."

IS CELLO SCHOOL RIGHT FOR YOU?
✅ Do you feel afraid of conflict or unsure about your problem solving skills?
✅ Does emotion often feel overwhelming to you and you wish you had a healthy way to process it?
✅ How about creatively? Do you find yourself at a lack of original ideas and wish that you could get “in the zone” to create on purpose, instead of by accident?
✅ Are you looking for the quick fix when you feel unmotivated to tackle a project, in the endless loop of scrolling on Instagram? (or Threads for that matter!)
✅ Do you feel a lack of focus to follow through on what matters most to you? (think having nights where the kids help with dinner, going for a walk in the sunshine, taking action on a big goal you have for your business, or simply flossing everyday)
If you read through the list above and at least 2 of these resonated with you, then you are in the right place.

THE INNER VOICE GUARANTEE
If you are not able to play simple melodies on the cello within your first 3 months using basic cello techniques, I will work with you till you do. No students are left behind!
THE DOORS ARE OPEN!
